Jack Sullivan said that this law will empower the US government to prevent some governments from exploiting technology services operated in the United States, which create risks to sensitive data of people and national security of the country. It’s worth noting that his statement came after a group of senators led by Senators Mark Warner and John Thune presented the bill.
