On Wednesday, the much-anticipated wait for Odisha’s 12th-grade Science and Commerce students finally came to an end with the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, announcing the highly awaited Odisha 12th Result 2023. The results for both the Commerce and Science streams of the 12th grade were officially declared on Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock, bringing a mix of excitement and relief for the students.
Excitement and Relief as Odisha 12th Result 2023 is Announced
Today, the CHSE released the results for the Commerce and Science streams in the initial phase. The Odisha HSE results for the Arts stream will be announced at a later time.
Let me highlight that the Odisha Board held the 12th-grade board exams at 1,145 centers throughout the state between March 1st and April 5th. This year, an estimated 350,000 students took part in these examinations. Among them, there were around 219,110 students in the Arts stream, 91,379 in the Science stream, and 23,148 in the Commerce stream.

85.67% of the girls have passed
As per the Odisha CHSE 12th Result 2023, the overall pass rate for students stands at 84.93%. In the previous year, the pass percentage in the Science stream was 94.12%, whereas it was 89.20% in Commerce and 82.10% in Arts, respectively.
In the current year, a grand total of 92,950 students participated in the examination, with 78,938 students being declared as successful. The pass percentage for boys stands at 84.28%, whereas for girls, it is recorded as 85.67%.
How to check the result of the Science stream.
In the Odisha 12th-grade Science Examination of 2023, a total of 39,573 students achieved a pass with First Division. There were 24,257 students who attained a Second Division, while 14,852 students obtained a Third Division.
